The candidate will write, edit, proofread, and research duties in connection with the preparation of Technical Manuals (TMs) and technical publications on the theory, installation, operation and maintenance of assigned systems. Develop and maintain US Army and Joint Electronic Technical Manuals (ETM), Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETM), Interactive Software User Manuals (ISUM), Interactive Software Administrator Manuals (ISAM) and Installation Kit Technical Bulletins Manuals for US Army LOGSA Authentication and Army Publication Directorate (APD) distribution in IETM format, IAW MIL-STD-40051-1C, and ETM (Portable Document Format) format IAW MIL-STD-40051-2C. Verify knowledge of subject by interviewing workers engaged in developing new products and services or in making improvements, observe performance of experiments and methods of production, refer to blueprints, sketches, engineering drawings and notes, trade and engineering journals, rewrites of articles, bulletins, manuals, or similar publications. Experience in conducting equipment publications contractor Start of Work meetings and In-Process Reviews (IPRs). Track status of multiple projects.
