    Responsibilities

    US Citizenship and the ability to maintain a DoD security clearance required.

     

    The candidate will provide Cyber Security and ISSO support for enterprise and tactical systems. Primary responsibilities include developing and implementing program protection and operations security procedures and practices. Support the development of technology program protection plans, and develop/review system's security documentation in order to identify potential security weaknesses, recommend improvements to address vulnerabilities, implement changes, and document security relevant changes. The successful candidate will: conduct assessments of information security controls in order to measure the effectives of controls and identify any gaps; manage remediation efforts and report on the status of control deficiencies; provide security expertise in the form of updates and reports.

    Qualifications

    • Active TS/SCI security clearance required
    • BS Degree in Information Technology (equivalent experience will be considered)
    • 6 years hands-on Information Assurance / Cybersecurity experience. The successful candidate will have demonstrated progressively complex skill in the development, integration, and implementation of system security documentation including system boundary definition, systems security plan, configuration management plan, contingency plan, and security agreements (e.g., MOUs, ISAs), etc. Must include the review, preparation, and updating of RMF authorization packages
    • Thorough knowledge of NIST 800 Special Publications, Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS) and other significant federal regulations
    • Experience in creating and maintaining minimum security configuration baselines for Windows and Linux platforms, networking equipment, cloud technologies and custom applications (i.e., Minimum Benchmarks: CIS, STIGS).
    • Familiarity with operational needs statements and DoD 5000 acquisition lifecycle processes
    • Must meet position and certification requirements outlined in DoD Directive 8570.01M for Information Assurance Technician Level 2
    • Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to work on multi-functional teams
    • Minimum of 20% travel to Army and contractor locations within CONUS required
