    Responsibilities

    US Citizenship and the ability to maintain a DoD security clearance required.

     

    In support of PM Electronic Warfare & Cyber, provide Cyber Security support and security engineering for enterprise and tactical systems. Primary responsibilities include developing and implementing System Security Plans and related Cyber Security information system security controls. Support the development of technology program protection plans. Provide Cyber Security oversight, guidance and support to the customer in accordance with the requirements of the Army Information Assurance program. The Information Systems Security Officer must be familiar with current Cyber Security policy, guidance and meet training/certification requirements, per AR 25-2, DoD 8570.01, DoD 8570.01-M and Best Business Practices.  The successful candidates will help develop a product/system security posture through implementation of the Risk Management Framework. This includes assisting with security risk management and assessment of program systems, performing research and analysis, and assessing the impacts of system design choices, technological advances, and malicious code. The Cyber Security Analysts will develop system's security documentation and identify potential security weaknesses, recommend improvements to address vulnerabilities, implement changes and security controls, and document and report security relevant changes.

    Qualifications

    • Active TS/SCI security clearance required
    • BS (equivalent experience will be considered)
    • 6 years of progressively complex experience in the development, integration, and implementation of Cyber Security related Risk Management Framework packages and program protection standards for EW and C4ISR systems
    • 3 years of experience with analysis and resolution of operational INFOSEC issues
    • 3 years of experience with supporting integration of INFOSEC solutions and technologies into operational processes while accommodating the impact of Cost, Schedule, and Performance of the project
    • Must be familiar with current Army CIO/G-6 and DAMI G2 processes and NIST 800-53 guidance.
    • DoD 8570.01M compliant at the IAT/IAM 2 level (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA, CEH, CAP, Security+ or equivalent security certification).  Level 3 is preferred
    • Applicable DoD 8570.01M computing environment certification
    • Expert in configuration and security hardening of MS Windows and RHEL based systems.
    • Excellent communications skills including the ability to work on multi-functional teams.
    • Minimum of 10% travel required
