The candidate will work as an on-site contractor supporting customer at Fort Belvoir, VA. Must be able to perform routine system administration duties, system patches, upgrades, configuration, troubleshooting and documentation of fielded equipment. Document standard operating procedures and recommend updates to optimize service delivery in alignment with ITIL best practices. Support cross-functional team to troubleshoot and resolve complex problems that may be across multiple systems and subsystems. Plan and implement system security activities and administer hardware backup and recovery procedures. Lifecycle management functions including test, deployment, maintenance, disposal, including laptops and workstations. Follow established Incident, Problem, and Change Management procedures in order to document all requests for service, resolve user issues, correct the root cause of incidents, and minimize any adverse impact to customer. Support for User/Operator requests for assistance on configured systems. Maintenance of system configuration requirements and operating systems to established standards and requirements.
Must possess good communication skills, be dependable, outgoing and positive with excellent problem-solving skills
Must have experience with Windows servers and Workstation administration.
