Responsibilities

US Citizenship and the ability to maintain a DoD security clearance required.

 

The candidate will assist in the creation and maintenance of technical documentation for the APG Wideband Integration Center (WIC). The candidate will be capable of juggling multiple complex documentation tasks with little or no oversight. Documentation tasks will include writing/proofing test procedures and problem reports, as well as compiling test reports and activity reports. The candidate will distill technical discussions with the lab's SMEs into consistent and useful SOPs. The candidate will support various other documentation tasks around the lab, such as award writeups and miscellaneous taskers from CERDEC and PM DCATS. The candidate will actively seek ways to improve deliverable quality and be unafraid to accept new challenges or suggest new approaches. The candidate will be eager to learn about the systems they support, performing independent research when they encounter job-relevant concepts they do not understand.

Qualifications

  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
  • 1+ year of experience required
  • BS or higher in relevant field, or relevant work experience
  • Able to work in a lab environment
  • Possess experience working with technical documentation.
  • Possess working knowledge of computer and networking systems. For example, the candidate must know the differences between a router, a computer, and an operating system, and be able to differentiate a Windows screen from a COTS software application's screen.
  • Comfortable with frequent interaction with site government and contractor personnel as it pertains to the development of technical  documentation.
  • Able and willing to submit work samples.
  • Comfortable working in a laboratory environment.
  • Minimum of 10% travel required

Experience working in a CMMI Level 3 project/business environment a plus for all open positions. US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Security clearance required.
