    The candidate will support ongoing development of, and administration of the Transportation Security Integration Facility's (TSIF’s) configuration management program. Lead efforts associated with establishing initial software and hardware configuration baselines for systems entering the test program including assembling and verifying configuration item documentation and technical data packages. Conduct system engineering critical functions (system architecture) analysis and gap analysis to ensure proposed configuration items (CIs) adequately reflect those elements that are critical to the system performance against the associated requirements to be tested. Conduct hardware and software configuration audits for all systems entering test. Support technology change proposals participating in TSA’s various configuration control board processes as requested. Advise test team on quality processes, and serve as the TSIF point of contact for technology vendors regarding management of their systems’ configuration. 


    • Active Secret security clearance and the ability to obtain a TSA Suitability clearance required
    • Bachelor's Degree required. A degree in Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Research, mathematics, physical science, or similar is preferred
    • 5+ years of systems engineering experience required
    • Experience with TSA Transportation Security Equipment is a plus
    • Must be able to stand and sit for extended periods of time

    Experience working in a CMMI Level 3 project/business environment a plus for all open positions. US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Security clearance required.
