Provide IA Expertise and Support to the Night Vision & Electronic Sensors Directorate (NVESD) Network Support Branch. Developed security artifacts (policies and procedures) which support various C&A activities including but not limited to self-assessments, topology & network infrastructure development, SW/HW identification and STIG configurations. Conduct security control assessments to determine compliance and effectiveness. Develop and maintain POA&M’s for discovered operational and technical vulnerabilities for all assigned systems. Achieve and maintain Authority to Operation (ATO) for applicable systems. Experience with Information Assurance and security management of systems. Experience providing leadership and oversight to a team of IA/IT professionals at government site. Expertise with NIST 800 Series and Risk Management Framework (RMF). Experience and understanding of DoD IA policies and procedures (such as DoD I 8500.02). CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP).
