The candidate must able to support Clients, with technical investigations related to Tactical Radio products, such as the Handheld radio, Man-pack radio product lines, and associated C4ISR network appliances (such as the Joint Battle Command – Platform and Nett Warrior System). Primarily working in a laboratory environment involved in the configuration, operation and testing of radios and associated networks, utilizing networking and analysis equipment, computer programs, and other test equipment to verify performance, investigate reported anomalies, debug issues, and support formal tests, exercises, and demonstrations. Must have some software development background and an understanding of software-defined radios and waveforms. Some knowledge of communications theory and RF engineering is a plus. Must work closely with leadership and other engineers in the Lab and with on-site Test Officers during formal test events such as Qualification Tests (QTs), Customer Tests (CTs), Developmental Tests (DTs), and Operational Tests (OTs). Assist in the design, coordination and execution of Regression Tests, QTs, CTs, DTs and OT Test events. Assist in the reduction, analysis, and presentation of test data, and assist with the generation of Test Plans, Test Procedures and Test Reports as needed.
