Responsibilities

US Citizenship and the ability to maintain a DoD security clearance required.

 

The candidate will conduct technical testing in support of TSA transportation security equipment to evaluate a given system's ability to effectively meet the TSA functional requirements for threat detection.

Duties include coordination and documentation of all testing and system configuration baselines. Development of threat surrogates, test requirements, test cases and test reports. Analytical analysis and reporting of test results. Work as a member of an integrated team to provide developmental test support services on a wide range of TSE.
 

Qualifications

  • Secret security clearance and TSA suitability clearance required
  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 5+ years of experience required
  • Knowledge and experience in trace explosive chemistry
  • Ability to develop gas chromatograph (GC) and High Performance Liquid Chromatography         (HPLC) methods for analysis of trace explosives.
  • Experience with microscopes
  • Experience with general laboratory equipment such as sonicator and wet chemistry techniques.
    Prior experience with Department of Homeland Security or Transportation Security Agency a plus.
  • Must be able to stand for an extended period of time and have the ability to react to hazards situations and loud noises. 
  • Minimum of 10% travel required

Experience working in a CMMI Level 3 project/business environment a plus for all open positions. US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Security clearance required.
