The candidate will develop new products and technologies by bringing new ideas and solutions to our every day challenges and business opportunities. Additionally, this role is responsible for hardware engineering support for AASKI's existing fielded airborne products. Support for existing designs and products, includes troubleshooting in manufacturing and repair processes. Development projects include: Developing next generation AASKI Airborne SATCOM products - this work includes electrical system design, component selection, integration and troubleshooting, and involves working with external customers and vendors. Customer solutions - includes hardware integration of AASKI products with a variety of mobile antennas and navigation units. The candidate will develop hardware solutions to meet specific customer requirements. Specify and qualify components to support the design, documentation, installation and test of customer driven solutions. Develop new hardware designs and support integration with AASKI developed software. Hardware integration of AASKI products with 3rd party mobile antennas and navigation units. Support existing hardware designs in the field. Develop manufacturing test plans and procedures.
