The candidate will support our existing technologies and products. This role is responsible for electronics technician support for AASKI's existing airborne products.  This work will include support for existing designs and products, including troubleshooting in manufacturing and repair processes. And may involve working with external customers and vendors. Troubleshoot, perform repairs and acceptance tests for existing airborne products and solutions. Perform manufacturing test procedures for production builds. Troubleshoot and repair electrical/electronic equipment, including airborne satellite modems, antenna systems and navigation devices. Install and calibrate on a mobile test van airborne satellite modems, antenna systems and navigation devices. Plan and perform work requiring thorough knowledge of satellite communications, and electrical/electronic theories and principles. Maintain engineering lab test equipment.


  • Must have US Citizenship / Eligible for Security Clearance
  • 2-year technical degree or related field or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years working in product development and manufacturing environments
  • Knowledge of RF, analog and digital circuits and principles, operation of test equipment, and troubleshooting methods and procedures
  • Thorough understanding of electrical engineering principles.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and carry up stairs, up to 50 lbs electronic equipment.
  • Highly motivated, self-sufficient, and able to work well both independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong troubleshooting and fabrication abilities
  • Minimum of 10 % travel required
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office
  • Experience with electrical engineering design tools
  • Preferred: Mobile VSAT technology experience, including modems, self-pointing antennas and Navigation units. Expertise in power supplies and grounding in mobile / airborne environments. Mechanical experience working with electronics packaging. Experience with electrical and mechanical design tools

Experience working in a CMMI Level 3 project/business environment a plus for all open positions. US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Security clearance required.
