Responsibilities

US Citizenship and the ability to maintain a DoD security clearance required.

 

The candidate will evaluate Link Budget Analysis, Long Haul Communications. Design, install, and maintain RF networks. Perform network/satellite capacity re-groom, space segment optimization, hardware/network optimization, and QoS set-up. Address disruptions and implements and/or commend corrective actions for telecommunication s equipment and services. Understanding of the complexities of broadband services, provisioning circuits and other Telco-provided services. Diagnose telecommunication s problems to their sources.

Qualifications

 

 

 

  • Active DoD Secret Clearance in the past 18 months.
  • Bachelor's Degree required

  • 10 years of relevant experience.

  • 5 years of DOD SATCOM system experience .

  • Basic knowledge of IP protocol,Ethernet networking,serial communications protocols, and Mechanical Layout/Applications/ Assemblies.

  • Clear understanding and implementation requirements of telecommunications industry standards and satellite link budget analysis.

  • Basic knowledge of 802.11 WiFi communication s, antennas, RF propagation, RF site surveys required.

  • SATCOM - iDirect: Advanced Operations and Maintenance required.

  • Must be a US Citizen.

  • CISSP, CCNA, and/or CCNP/JNCP Certification (desired not required).

  • iDirect Quality of Service Boot Camp (desired not required).

  • TracStar knowledge,and/or AVL (desired not required).

  • Willing to go the extra mile on behalf of our customers,partners,and their missions.

  • Achieves a high degree of attention to detail in all deliverables.

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Experience working in a CMMI Level 3 project/business environment a plus for all open positions. US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Security clearance required.
