Responsibilities

US Citizenship and the ability to maintain a DoD security clearance required.

 

Defines, documents, analyzes, performs, and interprets developmental tests for new and/or modified products or product components.  Investigates and resolves operational problems in conjunction with other engineering and technical personnel.  Provides technical support and advice to other engineering groups.  Guides and directs lower level personnel on the set-up and performance of tests.  Acts as liaison with outside suppliers in establishing or modifying specifications for purchased items.  Devises and applies testing procedures.  Participates in development, maintenance and refinement of internal quality control and reliability programs.  Test engineer in the functional area to which assigned; Performs component and system compliance testing, assures performance, functional & security requirements. Provides Test Plans and ensures plans are progressively developed during Design and Implementation; develops test procedures; conducts test dry-runs, create and maintaining traceability matrices.

Qualifications

  • Active US Secret security clearance required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Engineering or other Scientific/Technical discipline.
  • 5 years of experience required.
  • Bug tracking (Jira), version control, basic OS commands, basic SQL commands.

Experience working in a CMMI Level 3 project/business environment a plus for all open positions. US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Security clearance required.
